Jefferson County ATODA evaluation/assessment

Working with the Jefferson County Delinquency Prevention Council, the Center for Democracy in Action orchestrated community discussions with youth and adults on alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse. The evaluations will focused in three areas:

1. Drug-Free Communities focus groups where youth and adults can talk about alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse issues and community assets available to address ATODA problems.
2. An adult Community Readiness Survey focused on further probing questions on community readiness to support various approaches to dealing with ATODA issues.
3. Examining the Teen Court Program from the youth perspective: what they got out of the program, its value from their perspective, what skills have they learned, and ways the program be improved.
